2008 Conference Programme Announced

The BSCTA are proud to announce to that this year's Annual Coaching Conference will take place from 26th - 28th September 2008 at the Hinckley Island Hotel, Hinckley, Leics. (A5 Watling Street. LE10 3JA)

Keynote International Speakers are Frank Busch & Dave Marsh, both from the USA.

There is also an impressive lineup of domestic coaches dealing with international competitive topics to development and age group swimming, as well as an update on the UK Coaching Framework.

The Swimming Teachers seminar will take place at the same venue on Saturday 27th September 2008. This year the BSCTA is pleased to announce that Gail Smith, who owns, runs and teaches in SwimEasy in Scotland.

SwimEasy is Scotland's largest independent provider of swimming lessons for children and adults of all abilities.

SwimEasy provides quality swimming lessons in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians, Scotland. There ethos is 'Learn to swim to be safe, fit, and have fun!'

SwimEasy has direct link to the famous Warrender Baths Club in Edinburgh and Gail will discuss how her methods prepare her pupils for a long term career in the sport as well as teaching them to be safe & secure in water.
