Dave Haller has been an iconic figure in British Coaching for almost 40 years and he was rewarded for this loyalty to the profession by being nominated for the figurehead position that is President of the British Swiming Coaches & Teachers Association (BSCTA), at their recent AGM.

Haller spent 11 years coaching in Hong Kong before returning to Britain, taking over the reins in Cardiff and taking david davies to Bronze in the 1500m free in Athens.
As well as serving on numerous teams Coach Haller has won awards in GB and Wales, where he also now fulfills his other passion - golf, where he is President at the Vale of Glamorgan venue.
"I am honoured to be President of the BSCTA and be the figurehead for the profession and activity of coaching in Great Britain," he said upon receiving Chain of Office, "This is an exciting time to be involved in swimming in this country and I hope I can play my part in the continuing success of the sport."
