For the majority of its history, the BSCTA has operated as a national organisation, servicing and representing a national membership of national level issues. Recent years have seen the development of regional coaching forums and bodies that have reflected a growing need for coaches' concerns and opinions to be heard at that level.
At the 2002 BSCTA AGM a decision was approved by the membership to formally put in place a BSCTA regional structure that would operate under the continuation of provision at the national level. Various BSCTA regional organisations are now in place with more to follow in the months ahead. Each region will run its own educational events, have governing body representation on relevant committees and produce its own newsletter.
